Brashear played in the LaPlata Softball Tournament Saturday. Their 1sdt opponent was Marion County. Brashear scored 5 in the 1st, 2 in the 2nd, 5 in the 3rd, and 4 in the 4th to claim a 16-0 win. Averi Acton and Hannah Grissom both homered twice with Alexa Higgins also having a home run. Tanna Garlock had 3 hits, Atalie Hagan had 2 hits, and Sierra Snyder had a hit. Averi Acton got the start, pitching a 4-inning shutout and striking out 5.

The Lady Tigers' 2nd game was with Montgomery County. Brashear got on the scoreboard with a pair of runs in the 2nd, but Montgomery County tied the score at 2-2 after 3 innings. Brashear then scored 3 in the 4th and 2 in the 5th to win by a score of 7-4. Kynleigh White homered for Brashear with Averi Acton and Hannah Grissom also having hits. Atalie Hagan picked up the win on the mound.

After 2 wins, Brashear faced LaPlata in the tournament championship game. Brashear limited LaPlata's scoring to 2 in the 2nd and 2 in the 3rd before LaPlata broke the game open with 4 in the 4th and another 4 in the 6th. Brashear got on the scoreboard with 2 runs in the 6th, but it wasn't enough as they fell to LaPlata by a score of 12-2. Averi Acton had 2 hits for Brashear, with Emily Mason, Hannah Grissom, Atalie Hagan, and Sierra Snyder also having hits. Averi Acton got the start with Atalie Hagan pitching in relief. Brashear took 2nd place in the tournament.
